We regularly provide guidance to greenhouse horticultural companies that have run into difficult times. A large number of them have spent years under special administration and it we are only called into action when the bank has withdrawn funding.
Recently, we were called by a large-scale tomato grower who was on the verge of losing his company after having worked his fingers to the bone to build it up over 30 years. We jumped into the car straight away, held extensive initial talks with the entrepreneur and reviewed the business the next day. A rescue plan was drawn up in the very same week. All this resulted in the client being able to relaunch the company with backing from a private investor/financier and within a reasonable time.
