A manufacturer of wood pellets (cylindrical pellets made of compressed wood) asked us to help come up with ideas for his expansion plans. More specifically, he asked us to look into whether there were any subsidy schemes he might be able to make use of and, if so, whether we would submit the subsidy application for him.
In close collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl – formerly Senternovem) our office then submitted a subsidy application under the Stimulation of Sustainable Energy Production (SDE) scheme. Result: an SDE subsidy of over 18 million euros.
